The 4th day of the course is dedicated to drawing skills, and can be attended as part of the sculpture course as a stand alone day. Whilst appreciation of form in 3 dimensions is essential for surgeons, the ability to communicate these forms on paper is a highly desirable skill.
Throughout the day we teach general drawing skills, and work through various fun and lively exercises to develop a technique for appreciating the components of the human form, mainly the facial features. Working from a live model and each other, delegates produce numerous sketches of different styles, poses and portraits.
This course is also for all levels and abilities, and is a relaxing and entertaining day for all. We start from the basics and aim to convey the necessary skills to allow delegates to improve the quality of their operation records, revision notes and observational acumen.
